Description bigtom71 2009-05-13 02:48:28 UTC
I have just upgraded to Openoffice 3.1 and when I try to install any extension,
using the extension manager, it crashes. I am running ubuntu linux 8.04 on a
dell inspiron 1525 laptop. Also the help file will not load and I get a error
message that they are not installed eventhough I have chacked and they show that
they are installed.

Probably a duplicate of issue 101765.
What about if you delete userdirectory .openoffice.org

Where do you find the user directory that needs to be deleted?
Comment 3 jbf.faure 2009-05-17 21:18:52 UTC
@ bigtom71 : it is an hidden directory (as prescribed by the dot in its name) in
your home. Open Nautilus, go to your home, press ctrl+h, you will see all hidden
directories and files.
