Description ctlawguy 2009-11-01 01:32:30 UTC
When importing a .doc created or edited by Word2007, cross-references are
destroyed. If the document is saved by Writer as .doc, the references are still
gone when reopened in Word.

Please attach docx example file.
Comment 3 ctlawguy 2009-11-02 00:02:34 UTC
I ran a test on a .docx and the bug does not occur. Writer can open the .docx
without losing the references.

If the .docx file is then saved by Word as a .doc, word can open it, but Writer
loses the references. I'll attach the original .docx

This is the same problem as tracked in issue 2593. It is in development and
should be implemented in an OOo 3.x build.
