Already changed in the German UI. It has to do with 'Tables' of contents, which is (I expect) the most common use. Changing to Insert > Indexes would (I expect) make it even harder for users to find how to insert a ToC. Insert > Indexes and ToC might work but that also is not clear. Adding a new entry Insert > Table of Contents that would lead to the same dialog would probably be the clearest change. INDEX ist the generic term for me and most of the types are called INDEX. |
