Not sure if this is a dupe of 123429 or 123919 - but opening a 6MB xlsx from www.xo.com takes a very long time (+20 minutes) with Calc 4.1.1 as apposed to 8 seconds with Excel.

one core of the Core2 Duo/2.54Ghz CPU is just pegged.

Windows7/64bit.

no change when using 4.2.0 build 9800 (Rev. 1663462)

I agree that time loading is very long.
But, this is just to import this workbook.
Indeed, you can not export in xlsx format.
So, convert in ODS, open or save this file is reasonable now.
And the filesize has decreased: 6,334 ko to 2,287 ko.
