The attached screenshot shows rulers divided into increments of 6mm. Since
metric units are being used, rulers should really be divided in a metric manner,
with increments of 1, 2, 5 or 10 (etc.) units.

Confirming. I think this is a bug, not enhancement.

Might be related to issue #24205
inch units are used although prefereces are for centimeter

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
