It does make sense. At least I can confirm what you report with 1.1.0 on Win98. Set to New, P4, and slightly modified summary. set target to OOoLater Multi-Selection in tables will not supported in current. Type is cahnged from defect to enhancement. Modified summary slightly. Made it more significant. *** Issue 87275 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Reassigned to requirements. Also, because only the text can be selected in multiple areas, the table properties can not be edited for multiple cells. To make a table where every second row has a shaded background, each row must have its properties edited manually. *** Issue 88991 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** My report was set as a duplicate so maybe I repeat it here: " Let's say you have table ccc ccc ccc c -- cell. When user switches to such mode, then she/he would just click on cells and it would be possible to select cell like this: #cc c#c c## " but as you can see I am referring to cells not to text itself. @Efaston, so quite contrary, I would like to change properties of the cells (like background color) as well. One note here though: it would be useful also either to have "smart" context switch *** Issue 98516 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
