Printing an envelope on a Brother MFC-8300 via Cups from OOo 1.1 word processor.  

The printout is shifted 1" too far down the envelope and .5" too far to the
right.  This is with default settings for a #10 envelope.  Yes, the envelope is
centered in the printer tray.


Would be nice to be able to enter a negative value for in the "shift down" and
"shift right" dialogs.

Using blank scrap paper (use an outline to show envelope position),
take the "New Doc" button to produce a version of the envelope and
play with the margins of the items until it comes out right.

we are aware of various deficiencies concerning "printing envelopes"
in the current implementation of OpenOffice.org.
Things are being worked on in issue 20057. A complete and
overall bugfix will be incorporated into OpenOffice.org 2.0.

I tested with an HP, unfortunaltely not centered feed = Print is OK
A friend of my has not a brother but another centered feed printer = Print is OK
