I have no problem assigning a shortcut to "Insert.Special Character". Open a Writer document and go to Tools.Configure, tabpage "Keyboard". There I selected e.g. "Ctrl+Shift+S", Category "Insert", Function "Insert Special Character" and clicked "Modify" button. Now I could I suppose I've bad explain the issue. I was speaking about a character himself and not about the function "insert special character" (but thank you for this tip). e.g : I'm user of the U+25CF character and of the U+2013 character. I would like to be able to allow a ctrl+shift+. and ctrl+shift+- to those characters to write faster. I could be very usefull if for european people writing in foreign languages. I am missing such a feature too. I need it for mathematical operators, when writing inline without formula-editor. I think it is a dublicate of issue 4579 Ah, now I understand your request. Thanks for clearing up. ANd as regina mentioned, it is a duplicate to issue 4579. Set as duplicate to issue 4579. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 4579 *** Closed as duplicate. |
