table cell backgrounds and shadings not completely preserved during conversion
to / from M$ Word
Comment 1 watersrw 2004-05-30 13:07:55 UTC
e.g., try the 'subtle 2' table style in Word to a table and see how it does not
convert properly...
Comment 2 utomo99 2004-05-31 09:51:54 UTC
Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test it/faster
to confirm.
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more time)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is small,
but we still able to see the problem.

OO does not support pattern shadings. This is not only a Writer problem, thus I
set component to framework.
Comment 6 jitin_21 2007-07-26 05:40:09 UTC
Its true that open office doesn't support pattern shading. This problem is in
both OOCalc or OOWriter.
It doesn't work in conversion from MSOffice to OOo or vice versa.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
