MSWord2000 Headed stationery with image and border problems none

Description drc 2005-04-14 16:39:25 UTC
The attached Word2000 file imports with oversize images and changed aspect
ratios. It also loses borders (added to issue 41297 and probably need not be
considered here).

As you can see, it makes interoperability of OOo and MSoffice a non-starter in
this school.

The attachment is triplicated - here, 41297 and 32711. Is there a way of
attaching one file to more than one issue?

The whole graphic is the size you can see in OO Writer. Also in Word it shows as
a group of objects which spreads over the whole page (in background of text).

For problem regarding missing border I have submited Issue 47498.

MRU->OD: the order of the objects in the group is slighly wrong after import;
the graohical object at the top should be behind the Textbox "Hitchin...".

first investigation reveals that the graphic is inside another frame and that
the order of the objects inside the group aren't wrong. The textbox is behind
the frame, which contains the graphic in Microsoft Word.
But, the frame containing the graphic is imported as a drawing graphic object,
because it is grouped. This causes the imported graphic to be too big. Thus, in
Writer it overlaps with the textbox.
There is also another defect:
Open the given document in Microsoft Word, type some text in the frame, which
contains the graphic, and import the resulting document. Result: The complete
graphic is lost, because it's imported as a drawing textbox.

To import the frame containing the graphic correct, the Writer has to support
grouping of Writer fly frames with drawing objects. This is planned to be solved
by issue 30523 for target "OOo later".
Thus, according to the discussion with MRU:
- adjust "summary"
- add dependence to issue 30523
- set target to "OOo later"

Proposed solution:
After issue 30523 is solved that WW8 import filter has to import grouped
textboxes containing graphics as Writer fly frames containing graphics.
