Comment 4 nicolai 2005-08-16 11:35:48 UTC
Nothing happens when clicking on "Finish" repeatedly, clicking on "Cancel"
crashes the OO session (OO 1.9.122).
Comment 5 nagashree 2005-09-21 13:54:52 UTC
I was not able to replicate the issue with OOo m130 neither on Win xp, nor on
Linux too.

Kindly attach the sample document if possible.
Comment 6 checkfrog 2005-09-21 20:53:23 UTC
The error is reproducible in 1.9.104 under XP.
I was importing an MS-Access file, which I unfortunately cannot give away
because it contains confidential information. Anyway, it should probably work
with other MS-Access files as well. Here are the detailed steps:

- Start Base, select "Connect to an existing database"
- choose "Microsoft Access".
- Click "Next".
- Enter file name
- Click "Next", followed by "Finish".
- Double click "Use Wizard to create Form".
- Add all fields.
- Click "Next" twice.
- Select Columnar Arrangement.
Here, the graphics gets already screwed up.
- Clicking on "Finish" repeatedly doesn't have any effect.
After a while, it crashs.
Comment 7 nagashree 2005-09-22 04:56:00 UTC
Thanks for the information, anyway, I still was not able to replicate the issue
with the latest OOo m130. Lets see if some one else can replicate the issue,
how ever can you even try with the latest builds that are available at
http://download.openoffice.org/2.0beta2/index.html
Comment 8 checkfrog 2005-09-22 19:26:22 UTC
I upgraded to 1.9.125 under XP now and the problem persists. I will attach a new
error log hs_err_pid3796.log

Hwoarang -> checkfrog:

Can't reproduce with OOo 2.0.1m143 Build 8986 (WinXP)
Looking your error log, seems to be a problem with Java...
Which Java version do you have installed?

Could you please update your Java and test with 2.0.1rc2 ?

Closing as can't reproduce with latest OOo version and no comments in few weeks.

Reporter: Feel free to reopen it if necessary.

Comment 13 Mechtilde 2005-12-08 09:53:06 UTC
I want to reopen this issue.

The problem is that OOo crashes because there is something wrong in the table or
query. Esp. a wrong format for a row.

I reproduce this many times till I look if there can be a mistake in the format.

A solution may be to call which format is wrong than to crash.
Comment 14 hwoarang 2005-12-08 10:20:32 UTC
Hwoarang -> Mechtilde

The issue can be open any time.
Can you reproduce this problem with latest OOo version?
Could you please attach or send me, in private, a database to test?

As I couldn't reproduce the problem and the reporter dont update the comments
since Sep I've closed. But, like I said, this issue can be reopened any time.

Comment 15 hwoarang 2005-12-08 18:19:13 UTC
Can reproduce with OOo 2.0.1rc3 Win98SE

Hwoarang -> Mechtilde:
Thank you for the additional information to test.

As I can see the problem is related with fields 'date/time' and MySQL databases.

I made a test with a table from an existing database (egroupware) and new tables
created only for testing.

Steps:
(In my case I used ODBC connector version 3.51.12)
Connect with your MySQL database (F4 and then 'Edit Database file...')
Forms > Use Wizard to Create Form...
Make sure that you choose a table with 'date/time' fields...
Click on '>>'
Next
Next (Set up a subform)
Select the first option of arrangement (Columnar - labels on left)
Finish (twice, the first one will results nothing here)

The OOo will close.

P2: it is a crash.

As I have another bug happening with me here (issue #47377) I can't sent the
stacktrace.
But it is reproducible.

Stack trace of crash of OO.o Base FormWizard
Comment 18 balbinus 2005-12-09 10:39:11 UTC
Same for me - OO.o crash when clicking "Create" on FormWizard (using
fr-localized OO.o "official 2.0").

I'm using MySQL, with ODBC connection (driver v. from MySQL's website). Works
on some tables, but not on others. Might be coming from DATETIME fields: I've
tried with 2 tables including DATETIME fields, crash happened after a few clicks
on "Create" (one click doesn't produce any result - except moving the topmost,
leftmost field sometimes!). Trying on another table, without DATETIME field,
seemed to work.

I've attached a stacktrace - and I can send the MySQL table layout.

Comment 22 berend.cornelius 2006-01-13 10:31:14 UTC
Neither me nor Marc (MSC) could reproduce the bug in the version m149 anymore.
We suppose the bug has been fixed with bug i53320 that dealt with the
misplacement of TimeStamp fields. If somebody should still run into the issue I
would be thankful to receive a description to reproduce the error.
BC:After discussion with MSC I set to WorksForMe

Ooops... but works with OOo-dev 2.0 m151.

Thank you.

This Bug has been fixed in 2.0.2:

Internally OOo-Form splits the DATETIME-Column into a Date and a Time Column.
