Description yorick_ 2005-06-26 02:44:51 UTC
The attached file causes a reliable crash of M104 and M109 as well as a crash
during recovery. The doc was saved as odt file and that just made the crash
instantaneous. The Document gives no problem in 1.1.3 except that the formatting
is completely screwed. Tested on three different boxes with Mandrake 10.1,
Mandriva 2005LE and CentOS 4.0

Word Document crashes M104
Comment 2 yorick_ 2005-06-26 13:10:59 UTC
Removing the MSO "callouts" in the Doc stopped the crashing. Noticeably when
109 opened it originally, the formatting was exactly right but it crashed.
1.1.3 opened it but formatting was all over the place particularly the layout of
the "callouts".

MRU->FLR: I do mot get a crash with 680m106 or m111. But the document loos quite
invalid to me. When I open it with Word 2003, it is not possible e.g. to switch
to Print Layout view. It looks, that the document was created by an older
version of OO (maybe 1.1.x or even 1.0.x).
Could you please have a look? Thanks a lot!

ODT of original doc file.
Comment 6 yorick_ 2005-06-27 13:13:41 UTC
The original file was created in MSO 2003 and I opened it and resaved it with
OOo 1.1.3. But yes as you discovered it somehow killed the file and MSO 2003 on
the machine it was originally created on, wouldn't open it. The attached odt
file is one I managed to save before M104 crashed. The text file is the error
output from the crash monitor when I opened this file with M104 on MDK 2005.
