Text (object) dropped in sheet margin area inserts in nearest section, EVEN IT
IS PROTECTED.

I do not really understand what you mean. If I do Drag-and-drop with text or an
object, I get the "forbidden" cursor when I hover over a protected section.
Please provide a sample document where you also give some more precise
instruction about the path for reproduction.

This issue is a duplicate of issue 63108. Problem is, that a drawing object is
initially not visible after a drag and drop process.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 63108 ***
Comment 5 padd 2006-05-05 14:41:06 UTC
Drop object or text at a sheet margin, outside the thin line border around page
body but inside external page border. The place to drop text or object is shown
with asterisk on the drawing bellow.
Issue 63108 is about drawing objects, and this one is about objects AND TEXT.

MRU->OD: document with a protected section at the beginning, now drag and drop
some text from below the section into the margin above the section -> the text
will be inserted into the protected section
Comment 7 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2006-05-08 13:04:39 UTC
OD->AMA: please take over as discussed.

Cannot guarantee a fix for OOo3.0 => retarget.
