Good morning to everyone,

Please note that english is not my first language ;-)

Just today while helping some Linux users to do mailing with Ubuntu we notice
thaht the OOo ui is allready using the word "Mailing" for the french "Publipostage".

That is a defect because some people don't find this function.

This is a problem for people come from MS-Word. They are search this specific item.

The word [publipostage] is present in the on line help in the table of
corresponding terms between OOo and MSO. You'll find a direct link on how to
make a [lettre type] there.

Non, la seule explication dans l'aide n'est pas acceptable. Le terme "mailing"
est déplacé dans une administration publique ou le terme "publipostage" existe
et est utilisé depuis de nombreuses années.

Je ne comprends pas où se trouve la difficulté à remplacé une chaîne de
caractères dans un menu.

Hello,
I don't understand why OOo use this word "mailing. MSoffice use this french word
"publipostage" in 2003, 2010 béta version (i will see for 2007).
Why disturb  the users who come from MSoffice, we should the same word, no?
