Actally couldn't find version 3.01rc1 in the version box, applies to newest
version and all versions since m21

play sound does not work, OO freezes.

Works under Linux(Ubuntu 8.10) in OO2.4.1

Since build> 9319 different kinds of freezes and crashes (btw. for videos as well)
Still freezes under OO 3.1 rc1(build 9371)

Yes, JMF is properly installed and recognized by the diagnostic applet!

actually I cannot supply error reports since Impress just freezes and I have to
kill/end the process from the system-monitor. The mouse still works but Impress
doesn't respond. 
After restarting and selecting recovery and "next" to generate an error report
OO doesn't enter the reporting routine and just restarts the presentation
without further comment.
 If it would help, I could supply screenshots of OO's "open-files list" from the
system manager.(Don't know how to store it as a text-file, The memory map-list
is too long for screenshots.)

works fine for me with OOo 3.0.1 RC2 under ubuntu 8.04

Sorry, it works after having restarted the PC !?!?
In fact, if you have 2 installations of OOo, it works only for the first with
which you open your presentation. :-(
