Description Jack Gostl 2003-05-21 11:04:36 UTC
Right now spamc depends on RR records in the DNS to fallover to a backup host.
Not always possible. (My domain registrar runs my DNS and he thinks RR is a
place that sells fried chicken.) Bringing DNS in house, with all the security
issues it raises, is something I'd rather not do.

Looking at the spamc code, it shouldn't be that hard to specify alternate
hosts on the command line. Perhaps something like:

spamd -d host1 -1 alternate_1 -2 alternate_2

Then when spamc calls that fallover routine
