I'd like to be able to supply fallback hosts on the spamd command line rather 
than depending on the RR record. Changing DNS can be administratively much 
more complicated, and sometimes impossible. (Our DNS is managed by the 
registrar, and they don't support RR records.)

Perhaps    spamd -1 first_host -2 second_host

An explicit fallover list rather than a round robin.
