Our users receive a 500 error when using Spam Assassin.  if the user tries to save a template several times it does save -  intermittently.

when users attempt to submit email for spam check, 500 error cannot save email.
started last week and progressively getting worse

The SpamAssassin Project does not release any software that includes a facility for users to submit email or operate any service for submitting email for checking. Whatever you are having trouble with must be some add-on provided by your email provider or a third party.
