I don't think this is a regression or a bug; based on earlier such issues, its been that its not supported that nb be installed in dir/path that has multibyte. If its worked in some cases that is good, but I don't think its a supported situation. ken.frank@sun.com please add to release notes; this would be imprtant for anyone who might want to install in dir/path that had multibyte; this is not limited to localized bits, can even happen with en bits. ken.frank@sun.com see also 51127 and 8554 on this topic. please file an RFE on this topic if you feel it is something that customers would find important to be able to do and that its a common thing that they do (use of mbyte in dir or path to nb install directory) ken.frank@sun.com as per comments below, this is not an issue since its been stated that installing into dir with multibyte is not allowed. keyword RELNOTE has been marked and hope it can be release noted. Also, RFE will be filed to ask for this functionality. ken.frank@sun.com |
