Description jlautz 2007-04-16 17:53:51 UTC
Seen on Windows XP with Hula 070416_12 and JDK 1.6.0_1.

1. Open the projects in the attached .zip file.
2. Create a new composite app and open CASA Design view for it. Do not enlarge
the CASA editor window.
3. DnD the SynchronousClient into the JBI modules area.
4. Click the Build Project button.
5. DnD an External SU into the External Modules area.
=> I can't see the new External SU, and I can't scroll to it either (the
scrollbar is already to the far right).

Screenshot and .zip file attached.

Additional info:

Workarounds: If I scroll left, I can then scroll into the External Modules area
and see my new External SU. If I maximize the CASA Editor window, I don't have
this problem.
Comment 4 Joshua Sandusky 2007-06-02 05:28:09 UTC
fixed, the external region will now stretch to fit the widget, and the widget
will then be scrolled to if it is hidden

caveat: the CASA graph always attempts to keep the selected widget visible (only
if there is 1 and only 1 selected widget)
Comment 5 Joshua Sandusky 2007-06-02 05:30:31 UTC
clarification, the selected widget visibility caveat only applies to animated
layouts - the purpose of which helps the user to track the widget of interest

Verified as fixed on
