Description alexeybarilov 2007-04-19 14:43:08 UTC
The NetBeans IDE 5.5 crashed (hangs) when trying to import WTK 2.5.1EA
MobileMediaAPI project with default for this project device
configuration/profile (CLDC-1.0 and MID-P2.0). It was repeated on the three
different PCs. But MobileMediaAPI project successfully imported if change device
configuration from CLDC-1.0 to CLDC-1.1 in New Project/Default Platform
Selection dialog box.
p.s. The same situation is for the SnapMobileSample WTK 2.5.1EA projects.
Comment 1 Adam Sotona 2007-06-08 10:20:53 UTC
I cannot reproduce it in 5.5 nor in 6.0.
Please reopen if happends again. You can help us by running nb.exe instead of
netbeans.exe. In the console you can invoke thread dump (CTRL-Break) when
deadlock occures and attach it here. From the thread dump we are able to fix the
deadlock even without reproducing it.
Comment 2 Lukas Hasik 2007-06-08 11:16:30 UTC
other ways how to generate thread dump when deadlock occurs are described in
http://qa.netbeans.org/bugzilla/generating-thread-dumps.html
