Steps to reproduce:
- open Tools->Options->C/C++
- change Compiler Collection 
- press Cancel
- open Tools->Options->C/C++ once again
Result: Compiler collection is changed. This is inconsistent with Netbeans.

The property wasn't getting changed but the dropdown menu wasn't reset so it showed the previous
value.
