Works for me. Unless you can provide more specific instructions (perhaps
about your environment) and I can duplicate this I'll have to close as
WORKSFORME.

Can you verify such scenario?
- Run SunStudio
- Create Args sample project from "Samples|Makefile Based" category
- Build project
- Run project
==> "Resolve Missing Native Build Tools" window appears

My machine at home:
- OpenSuse 10.2
- PATH=/opt/sun/sunstudio12/bin:/usr/bin:....... (gcc, g++, dbx ,gdb, cc and CC
are available)
- SunStudio12 build 20070501

I tested your exact scenario on Solaris and it worked as expected. I'll
test it again (probably not until Friday as I'm taking tomorrow off)
on Linux and see if it behaves differently.
Comment 4 _ gordonp 2007-05-18 17:17:40 UTC
I tried again on a SuSE Linux (SLES 9) platform with Sun Studio build 47.1
and the netbeans (with cnd) from that build (both netbeans and cnd from that
build are release candidates which will most likely be the FCS versions). I
still could not duplicate your problem.

I'm asking local QE to try to duplicate the problem. If they can't I'll close
as WORKSFORME.

I tried yet again to duplicate this problem and could not. If someone can,
please reopen with both an exact set of steps, an exact path, and an exact
list of what compilers are found in that path (also, system and version
information).
