Right click on Visual Midlet select from the pop-up menu the option Profile File 

the IllegalArgumentException appears. See attachment

"Profile File" should be disabled when profiling is not supported by particular
project type.

You're right, currently Profile File is in popup menu of each project including
the unsupported ones. Duplicate of Issue 101747.
