I don't understand what you mean. How does the shift key insert a component?

sorry for delay but for the next time please set keyword INCOMPLETE for issue if you need additional information
otherwise it's hard to find it and fill detailed description

to be clear, do this
pick e.g. button from pallet 
before plop, keep shift key
then placed this button somewhere in design
see, button is inserted but new button appears under cursor. User doesn't need to pick it again from pallet

This is fixed now. The user can use the shift key to add further components when doing a Pick and Plop operation.
