It would be nice to have Resources Creation wizards keeping references for the already created resources 
to jndi-name default value as was the case in 551 RC1: jdbc/myResource_1, .. myResource_2, mail/mySession_1

Default Jndi Names offered should take into account the resources already in project.
Ans the wizard should also provide appropriate message to user if they choose an existing jndiName

please close this issue if you forgot to earlier.  If this issue is still open,
please change the target milestone to reflect the current commitment.

This enhancement is still needed for resources creation wizards, so changed to future if you still have a chance 
to fix it in a 6.0.1 version (patch ?) or in 6.1
