Description jamespb 2007-07-06 22:05:54 UTC
http://ruby.netbeans.org/ doesn't say how to sign up for the dev@ruby.netbeans.org mailing list; seems like the old
scripting page had that info.

(Not a netbeans issue, really, but i didn't know where else to put this...)

Thanks. The www folder in the ruby cvs module was missing some files such that the project-specific links on the right hand side were missing for the ruby
project. I've corrected that now such that there's a "Mailing Lists" link there which points to the 5 or 6 ruby-specific mailing lists.

In general, the ruby.netbeans.org page could use some work - it's currently just pointing to the wiki (where there's a lot more information on how to sign up
etc.) but we should make this more attractive; pointing to available features etc.

FYI, the wiki page (http://wiki.netbeans.org/wiki/view/RubyFeedback) doesn't tell people how to subscribe to the mailing
lists, just says they exist.

Thanks - I rewrote that section to the following:

For issues of general interest (e.g. a summary of usability issues, or key feature requests), send your e-mail to the [dev@ruby.netbeans.org|
mailto:dev@ruby.netbeans.org] alias. You can send mails to the alias, but if you are not a subscriber, they first go to a moderator queue. To subscribe to the
alias and join the discussion, visit [http://ruby.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList].

Getting rid of 'ui' category. Will use right subcomponent and UI keyword. 'code'
when none subcomponent fits.
