NB 6.0 200707171200 & GF v2 b55 java ee 5 tutorial sample: chapter 32 , clientmdbentity (ejb + app-client), deploy/run on local host ok. Disable of the ear project and after Run ear project does not prevent app-client from starting and waiting for messages to be received, after Enable of the ear project, nothing happens at the app-client side.
the appclient can be run... even if the ear is disabled. That isn't any different from how the app client would behave "in the wild", since an app cklient is an independent process... Parallel: the administrator may disable an app, that has clients somewhere on the network... The admin will not be able to prevent those apps from executing (unless they delete the app client from the machine that it has been distributed onto).
