Hi, I have received this issue from my customer. Profiling of the application with Sun Application Server versus Tomcat 5 issue: Customer not able to make profiling work on SUN Application server. It was observed that total number of classes instrumented with tomcat are 5298. However for Sun Appserver it shoots up to more than 15000. There was no luck with tomcat 6 also. Below are more details : OS : Linux kkkumar 2.6.20-1.2952.fc6 #1 SMP Wed May 16 18:59:18 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux JDK : Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_01-b06, mixed mode, sharing) Physical memory : 2GB CPU : Pentium 4 dual core, 3GZ Netbeans 6.0 milestone 10 Application server TOMCAT 5 with -Xms512m -Xmx1024m Versus : OS : Linux kkkumar 2.6.20-1.2952.fc6 #1 SMP Wed May 16 18:59:18 EDT 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux VM : Sun JDK 1.5.0.11 Appserver : Sun System Application Server sun-appserver-pe9.0 Please let me know if their has been issues reported on this? To diagnose this problem we need more information. message.log from NetBeans and application server log will be useful. Please, describe what do you mean by 'Customer not able to make profiling work'. Thanks.
