It'd be useful to have a window for a 'ruby script/console' session in addition to the irb window for Rails work.

It should already be there - right click on a Rails project, choose "Rails Console". Perhaps I should add it to the Windows menu like the IRB console. Unlike the 
IRB console, each Rails console is tied to a particular project which is why it was originally made per-project and added to the projects menu instead of a 
generic place.

Basic feature is there. Output window enhancements are tracked separately.
