This should be fixed now because of recent changes to the way previews are drawn.
Menu items are rendered very very ugly for Vista users. See the screenshot. - wrong position of selection rectangle for text, first letter or two letters are not inside selection - absolutely wrong position of icon selection rectangle - strange colored border around checkbox and radiobutton

Oups, there is no checkbox mark and radiobutton dot. :)
I don't have a Vista computer to test with. I have made some modifications that will shift the selection rectangles about 19 pixels to the left. Please check that it looks correct now.
