It will be very useful to highlight the links (lines on the UI) that are connected to a partner link node, when the node
is selected. 

I think this is a regression and hence it is a defect of P2.

This is not a regression. Such behavior was never implemented. We have similar feature - highlight link when webservice
activity element is selected(not the partner link element).

Turning this into feature request.
