Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200708140000) 
Java: 1.6.0_02; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_02-b05 
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1251; ru_RU (nb)

Steps to reproduce:
Create new Anagram Game project.
Check that profiler options "Open Live Results For" CPU and Memory are turned off.
Run Profiler in analyze performance or memory mode. 
The Live Results window opens automatically. The Update Results Now  and Run GC buttons are enabled now.
Terminate profiling session and close Live Results window.
Run profiling session again.
Open Live Results window manually.
The Update Results Now  and Run GC buttons are disabled now.

I'm able to reproduce the problem with incorrectly disabled actions. However I don't understand how Live Results window 
could be opened automatically on new profiling session when all "Open Live Results For" checkboxes in Profiler Options 
are unselected - turned off - this doesn't happen for me. Could you please check this again and eventually file a new 
issue for it?

Sorry, but can't reproduce the problem with opening live results even with unselected "Open Live Results" option. This
works as expected for me.
As for the buttons, the behaviour is now corrected.
