lack of documentation on creation of validators

We need some documentation/tutorial for people to easily understand how to build validators in NB.

What do you mean by "validators"? How does that relate to the NetBeans Platform? This is a big report from 2007, so I am closing it. If the person who created this bug disagrees, feel free to reopen, but then please give some clues what you're talking about.
