When setting a Timed Take Snapshot in the profiler the initial snapshot time is advanced by 8 hours on exit. It will continue to advance 8 hours everytime the profiling point is edited and exited. I suspect the number of hours will not always be 8 depending on time zone.
Thanks for the bugreport. Unfortunately I'm not able to reproduce the problem - could you please describe exact steps what are you doing, starting by creating new profiling point? What is your timezone?
I just downloaded the latest (200709280000) using Netbeans for Windows and the problem is still there. I can't confirm that the problem exists on platforms other than Windows. The timezone is US MST. The problem can be recreated by choosing Profiling->Insert Profiling Point. Select "Timed Take Snapshot" then click "Next". The time displayed in the "Take at" field should be the current time. Click Finish to save the profiling point. Now open the profiling point for editing. My "Take at" time has advanced by 8 hours when I open it up. Everytime you select "Ok" and re-edit the point the time advances another 8 hours. Clicking "Cancel" instead of "Ok" does not cause the time to advance. I noticed the problem originally when trying to take timed snapshots. If I set the "Take at" time to at least 8 hours prior to when I want it to happen then it works fine.
Thanks, now I'm able to reproduce it. Raising priority as this is quite serious usability problem.
Fixed for Beta2.
Doesn't seem to be reproducible with 200710071200. Verified
