Description Ken Frank 2007-10-01 18:53:00 UTC
for tools - > mobility deployment window, add instance window

the select deployment type dropdown not show all its contents.

am running at 14pt font using pseudo localized nb.

messages when translated can be longer than in engish; and xdesign/hie recently said that dropdowns should
show all contents fully.

also, in the mob deployment window, for ftp, the textfields are very small; i realize a text field is not
subject to resize requirements per se but wondering if those could be longer as default ?

Ken, please, stop reporting this nonsense issues.
I see there twice longer label and twice longer combo content then usual, using bigger fonts and still the "File
Transfer Protocol" text is visible.

Adam,

can you clarify about what you mean by nonsense issues in your comments ?

What is reported and seen, as per gif, is similar to many resize kind of issues
filed and fixed by many teams, including mobility.

It might be the additonal length of the strings for Server, user name, password
and passive mode transfer label that causes it and you dont have pseudo localized
to see that effect.

xdesign and usability teams have confirmed that windows do need to resize dynamically
to show all contents in most cases and at reasonable font sizes, thus its not just
some guideline I created myself.
