If you try and create the sample project SOA->BPEL BluePrints->BluePrint 1 the wizard doesn't close and the project is not opened. Happens on Linux and Mac OS for build 200710071200. You can close the create project wizard dialog then open the project via the ide but the project wizard should close and the project be opened in the ide when finish is selected. Steps: Add new project select samples->SOA->BPEL->BPEL BluePrints->BluePrint1 click next click finish Other projects and sample projects work fine.
works for me on Mac OS X with Build 200710071200 did you delete ~/.netbeans before installtion?
I'm not sure what happened. I could reproduce this on 2 machines, linux and Mac and I always delete my userdir before a new install but I cannot reproduce it now. I'll close this as invalid.
not reproducible

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710120000) Java: 1.6.0_03; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_03-b05 System: Linux version 2.6.20-16-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) The problem seems to be back and reproducible on Linux, haven't tried another platform but this is a stopper for Beta2. All SOA sample blueprints are unable to be created.
Created attachment 50847 [details] Exception in the log when creating BPEL blueprint1
works fine for me on MacOS Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710120000) Java: 1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-87 System: Mac OS X version 10.4.10 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200710120000) Java: 1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-87 System: Mac OS X version 10.4.10 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb) OK, this one is frustrating but here is how to reproduce it. Steps: 1. before you begin remove your userdir (you know .netbeans) 2. start the IDE 3. Create a new Java Application (new project->java->java application) 4. Create a new SOA sample (new project->Samples->SOA->BPEL Blueprints) select next or one of the blueprints then select next 5. You will see the exception in the log (or in the terminal if you started the IDE that way) and the new project wizard never closes.
reproduced with provided steps on MacOS
Problem: All SOA Sample apps cannot be created Steps: 1. Create a new java application 2. Create a new SOA sample project 3. Creation wizard never closes, sample is not created.
Since creating new SOA project will not get the same project, change the sub-component to "samples".
Vladimir, pleaselook at this.
Fixed in trunk, beta2, sierra.
