I've run the 20071010 nightly installers on both Solaris and Windows this moring and both JSE installers popped up a disable-and-continue window over 5 J2EE modules. It looks really bad when the installer displays a warning that things aren't working as expected and it has to disable some things! The exact messages were: Warning - could not install some modules: NetBeans Profiler (J2EE Projects) - The module named org.netbeans.api.web.webmodule was needed and not found. NetBeans Profiler (J2EE Projects) - The module named org.netbeans.modules.j2ee.api.ejbmodule was needed and not found. NetBeans Profiler (J2EE Projects) - The module named org.netbeans.modules.j2ee.dd/1 was needed and not found. NetBeans Profiler (J2EE Projects) - The module named org.netbeans.modules.j2eeapis/1 was needed and not found. NetBeans Profiler (J2EE Projects) - The module named org.netbeans.modules.j2eeserver/4 was needed and not found.
JSE? Installer? Really ? :) Passing to profile.. seems that they have already fixed this some time ago. The issue is the profiler dependency on some of j2ee modules.
