[#2007102900, jdk1.5.0] It is currently in editor popup menu but Nb use to have it in Run > Run File menu.
1) Run action should be in pop-up. User does not know that JavaScript file is executable otherwise. 2) Nb use to have it in pop-up menu.
To be more clear, the Run action in editor popup menu can stay but I woul like to have the same behavior for .js as we now have for .java or .jsp. It mens Run action can be invoked from: - node popup menu - editor popup menu - Run > Run File main menu - [Shift][F6] shortcut Next we can rename it to 'Run File' to be consistent with .java and .jsp.

ok
There is no Run action for JS any more, so closing as WONTFIX. I filed a related issue 128341.
Still valid for .sh files. JavaScript part is tracked as another issue.
fixed in the changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main/rev/afc96170391d
