Comment 1 Michal Zlamal 2007-11-12 14:02:43 UTC
could you please use the codename base convention?
I really don't know which module is what.
Comment 2 Jiri Kovalsky 2007-11-12 14:19:28 UTC
I am taking over this issue.
Comment 3 juergenschmidt 2007-11-12 15:57:42 UTC
OpenOffice.org API Plugin
The problem is that we have no time to work on it at the moment (we work both on other projects). We have two main problems

1. UNOIDL editor
we got an error box when we open an UNOIDL file the first time. After that everything works. We assume the reason for
that is that we still use some deprecated API's that have to exchanged.

2. we generate class files based on type description directly -> no Java code files are involved. The problem is that
these types are not recognized in the editor. The bug 118100 will not be fixed and we have to workaround this we an
additional jar file. Not nice but it should work.

We will fix these problems asap but we can't guarantee that until Dec. 3th.
Comment 4 Jiri Kovalsky 2007-11-16 11:35:37 UTC
OpenOffice.org API Integration will be ready by the end of 2007. Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 for CLDC is meant by
Java ME SDK Catalog. Load Generator is part of JMeter plugin and needs to be published (though I think not necessarily
visible). Task List will reach Stable quality in couple of weeks. No news regarding JDBC Rowset and JSF 1.1.02 Library.
Comment 6 Michal Zlamal 2007-11-16 14:54:25 UTC
Those 2 visualweb NBMs were taken from RC1 build and are already on UC.
Comment 7 Jiri Kovalsky 2007-11-16 15:11:56 UTC
Oh, yes. You are right. The problem is they are not visible so that's why juhrik didn't find them. Thanks for this
clarification.
Comment 8 Jiri Kovalsky 2007-11-20 20:30:49 UTC
The TaskList modules are available here: http://tasklist.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=213

Roberte, could you please upload them to the Stable Update Center? Thanks!
Comment 9 rnovak 2007-11-21 09:52:00 UTC
I staged the 4 TaskList modules on the Stable UC for NB 6.0. Please, proceed with the download test.
Comment 10 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-11-22 18:15:22 UTC
There is the following issue with the Task List plugins:
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=122599
Comment 11 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-11-26 16:49:04 UTC
I prefer fixing issue #122599 before publishing Tasklist plugins in order to eliminate potential dependency troubles. It
seems that the fix is simple - it is needed to only add the attribute to .jar files (for more details see my today's
comment in 122599).
Comment 12 Jiri Kovalsky 2007-12-03 19:47:57 UTC
Roberte, could you please stage the two TaskList modules [1], [2] as soon as possible? Thanks!

Comment 13 rnovak 2007-12-03 23:46:52 UTC
2 Tasklist modules are staged.
Comment 14 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-12-04 10:05:36 UTC
Roberte, where are these 2 tasklist modules staged? The following URL still contains old modules:
http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/6.0/uc/final/test/catalog_stage.xml.gz
Comment 15 rnovak 2007-12-04 14:13:38 UTC
Modules are staged on the Stable UC:
http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/6.0/uc/final/stable/catalog_stage.xml.gz
I apologize for misunderstanding.
Comment 16 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-12-04 14:40:55 UTC
The staging of tasklist plugins is OK now so please Roberte push it live.
Comment 17 rnovak 2007-12-04 14:58:00 UTC
Done, I pushed the Tasklist modules live.
Comment 18 rnovak 2007-12-04 15:05:08 UTC
Are there any other content issues on Stable UC for NB 6.0 that needs to be solved ?
Comment 19 Jaromir Uhrik 2007-12-04 15:38:13 UTC
Tasklist modules are OK now on stable update center. So that the "OpenOffice.org Integration" is the last plugin that is
not available. We need to wait for this plugin and then the issue can be resolved.
Comment 20 rnovak 2008-02-14 17:13:24 UTC
I think this issue is already resolved and can be closed. Any objections ?
Comment 21 Karthikeyan Rajeswaran 2008-02-14 17:23:19 UTC
Regarding OpenOffice (which is the only pending module in this discussion):

http://www.nabble.com/NetBeans-6-OpenOffice-Development--td15339613.html#a15393632 :
   >> As per
   >>
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OpenOffice_NetBeans_Integration/Releases/Release_1.2#Current_issues_concerning_NetBeans_6

:
   >> 'NetBeans 6 support (building the plugin as well using it with NetBeans 6)' is still in 'planned' stage
   >> ...Due to the lack of resources there is no estimation possible when these issues will be fixed....

I agree that this issue (121730) can be closed (and, if needed, OpenOffice issue can be raised as a new issue against
the relevant component for openoffice).
Comment 22 Jiri Kovalsky 2008-02-15 09:15:26 UTC
I agree to closing this bug. As for the OpenOffice.org plugin for NetBeans 6.0 it is being solved right now and should
be published soon.
Comment 23 Jaromir Uhrik 2008-03-05 09:10:00 UTC
Marking as Verified.
