If the WSDL on which a PL depends has been changed (for instance re-imported from external), there is no easy way to reflect this change in the PL. The PL itself should have an "update" option, perhaps when right-clicking it.
Another possibility would be to allow the new WSDL to be dropped on the existing PL.
PartnerLink on diagram should update it's content when WSDL, containing related PartnerLinkType, Role, PortType, etc is changed. For example, adding, removing, renaming operations in PortType will be reflected on diagram. But, this will not work if modifications done to WSDL breaks link integrity, for example, renaming PortType without changing portType attribute for role element. In this case PL element on diagram will appear as empty until the link integrity will be fixed. To avoid this problem, user should use refactoring feature available for WSDL and schema editors.
If you change something in wsdl file via refactoring action, PartnerLink on diagram is updated automatically. If you like to change in source code without refactoring, you must do changes in bpel too or choose new values of PartnerLink on diagram, it can't be done automatically (~ update button) because there are can be many cases. Mark as fixed because PL is updated if wsdl is changed via refactoring.
