Description astares 2008-01-30 23:01:49 UTC
If one has Sun App Server or Glassfish installed on a location with a long
directory path and this particular server has more than one domain the
selection in the netbeans wizard to add a server is unreadable

How to reproduce:
- install SAS/Glassfish in a directory with a long path (C:\Programme\MyInstallation\SunAppserver\appserver\)
- use asadmin to create a second domain (beside the default domain1)
- open NetBeans, select the "Services" window, in the tree select "Servers", right click "Add Server"
- in the wizard select the platform location (in this case the installation with the long path)
- its not possible to distinguish the two domains in the combobox-selection for "Register Local Default Domain"

yup
Comment 2 Vince Kraemer 2008-02-05 16:56:07 UTC
should be able to modify the display... eliminate the extra, redundant data in the combobox values...

i can tell which is which in this screen shot immediately. There would be an issue if the user had multiple default
domains with overlapping admin ports.. (which is not a recommended practice..).. the workaround for that particular
situation is to resize the window...

... what about just displaying the names of the domains in the combobox?
Otherwise the label "Domain" is not very intention revealing. The path
is already displayed in Platform location after using the "Browse..." button.
