I am unable to shutdown tomcat 5.0.30. The output files generated in local settings/temp folder are not deleted. The only way to shutdown tomcat is to Close netbeans IDE and kill the java process running. Then delete the output files generated.
This works fine for me. Most likely there is some applictation deployed blocking the shutdown or the tomcat itself has a problem. What is the build number of your ide? Any logs? Can you start and stop tomcat from command line?
