Description kate 2008-04-01 10:41:46 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200803311211)
Java: 1.6.0_10-beta; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b11
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

- Do diff some two files.
- In Diff Editor change engine from "Built-in Diff Engine" to "Command-line Diff Engine".
- On Windows OS, no commandline diff is present, so appropriate message is displayed [scr1], OK so far.

- Now, when you confirm the dialog box (OK), "Computing differences .. " is displayed in the middle of window [scr2] but
I am quite sure that nothing is being computed. This might be confusing for users.
