In which project type? Which JDK do you use for running the IDE? Can I ask you to try this in NB 6.1 rc1 to see if the
issue still exists there, please?

No enough information to reproduce.
The JAX-WS 2.1 library is added to project's classpath unless JAX-WS is part of JDK or part of J2EE server libraries.
