Until the modified cells are committed to the database, there should be visual feedback informing the user about the
uncommitted data, like a different font or color.

I don't see any visual feedback in the new version. Please describe the visual feedback and the circumstances in which
it appears.

Ah, I couldn't see it because the color is quite dark. It would be nice if you chose a more visible color, and also made
it visible when the cell is selected.

I would try dark green, #008000.
