I cannot replicate this. here is what I did. start the ide. switch to services explorer right click on servers node, selected the Add Server item the add server dialog opens. select 'Glassfish v3 tp2' from the list. press the Next button. entered the name of a directory that does not exist in the installation location field. selected the 'I have read...' checkbox pressed the download now button. clicked finish. right click on the v3 node that was just registered. select properties item. the properties dialog opens. press the 'add server button' the add server dialog opens select gf v2 tp from the list. entered 'foobar' for the name. pressed next. entered the path that I entered in the install location field. pressed finish There wasn't a new server in the list... but the existing v3 server was "renamed" foobar... the selected property page was still the v3 page... Please reopen with more details on how to reproduce the issue.
