Many users use Firefox 3 todays. But the instalation netbeans-firefox-extension.xpi finished with an error. 

The second problem is that after canceling the installation the browser displays page with NetBeans logo and message 

NetBeans JavaScript Debugger
Launching. Please wait...

but the debugger is not running due the previous problem.

I have tried to install the extension in Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/2.0.0.15 without success as well.
