Description msreekanth 2008-07-23 06:39:54 UTC
Hi ,
I have downloaded and installed the latest version of netbeans 6.5 ide(NetBeans IDE Build 200807221016).Before I
installed this version , I removed the netbeans user directory.

Now I created a new Webproject and then a new webservice. After giving the Webservice name and package I clicked on Finish.
After that at the right hand side bottom of IDE, i see a progress bar saying Task Scanning and it never ends.

I am using Solaris 10 and jdk1.6.0_05.

Thanks,
Sreekanth

The log shows also NPE from glassfish module ... reassign for evaluation
Comment 5 _ pcw 2008-08-11 22:05:44 UTC
The trace in the log from the Glassfish plugin is issue 141798 which has been fixed.

If that was the cause of the reporter's complaint, then this bug should be closed as a duplicate (of 141798).

If not, the original issue should be investigated further.

--> webservices for confirmation of whether this should be closed or investigated further.
