Description davisn 2008-08-27 02:50:34 UTC
-This was working in b20 build.
-When I first click at the "View Update Center" menu, I received a dialog saying "python.exe has encountered a problem
and needs to...." and when I close the dialog the tool failed to start

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install NB 6.5 Trunk build (08/26/2008)
2. Install nightly b21 build from location: http://download.java.net/glassfish/v3/nightly/
3. Register V3 b21 server
4. Right-click at the V3-b21 server node, select "View Update Center" menu
BUG:
python.exe problem happens. Please see the attached screencast

Seems to work fine on Solaris 10.

I'll check it out on Windows... Note this is very likely a server or packaging bug, not a plugin bug. I will try to
confirm this (or fix it if I'm wrong of course).

Since this problem has occurred with others rather than only myself, bug priority is changed from P3->P2

issue 157357 is not a dup of this issue.

Davis, did you ever see this again? I think this was a V3 issue, probably long since resolved or simply a one-time packaging bug.

If you can reproduce it, can you file a new issue against GlassFish V3 instead?

I'm going to close as WORKSFORME (ie "cannot reproduce").
